The company was founded by a husband and wife team in Eugene, OR in 1993 and has since retained its Eugene branch and moved its corporate headquarters and processing team to Portland. The company is committed to helping clients find the right mortgage product for their needs and providing excellent customer service along the way.
About Ryan and MfgHomeMortgage.com
After several years of mortgage loan originating experience, Ryan Swearingen joined the team at American Home Funding in 2013 as a Senior Loan Officer. Understanding how difficult it is for manufactured home buyers and manufactured home owners to obtain financing, Ryan set out to cater to those clients. Ryan is well versed and fully capable of helping with all residential mortgage needs, however he has taken it upon himself to specialize in manufactured home mortgages. At the end of 2015, Ryan created MfgHomeMortgage.com as a resource for manufactured home owners and those needing financing options for manufactured homes.

Ryan Swearingen
Sr Loan Officer
Ryan was born and raised in Arizona and has served his country as a Marine and his community as a Deputy Sheriff. He holds a bachelor's degree from The University of Arizona and has nearly a decade of mortgage experience. Ryan has been with American Home Funding since 2013 and has been specializing in manufactured home mortgages ever since.
When he's not spending long hours in the office, Ryan volunteers as a Search and Rescue Helicopter Pilot with the Sheriff's Office.
John Clayton
Sr Loan Processor & Loan Officer
John was born and raised in California and moved to Oregon in 2004. He has over 15 years experience in all aspects of the mortgage industry, from mortgage origination to junior underwriting to leading the loan processing team here at American Home Funding for the last four years.
In his free time John enjoys spending time with his two boys outdoors, usually camping or snowboarding.
Tyler Chism
Processor / Loan Officer
Tyler is one of three processors we have here at American Home Funding and he is also a licensed Loan Officer. He was born and raised in the Portland area and has worked for the company for a little over four years. Tyler takes care of many company related tasks, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly.
In his free time Tyler enjoys riding his motorcycle and coaching high school football and lacross.
